Welcome Summer!!

Finally the sun is here!! Sun bathing here I come!! It's been so nice to catch some summer rays while I still am not working. Today we went to my Aunt Marsha's to swim in her pool (very nice of her). That would make it Maleah's first swim, and she LOVED it. She's my little water baby.

You can always have to much of one good thing!

Camping at Icicle Creek

Acouple weeks ago we took a trip up to Icicle Creek for Maleah's first Camping trip. We used to go up every year around the end of May and visit with my parents old high school pals. This year Maleah was the youngest child to ever camp with us at Icicle. She was a great camper! It got in the low 30's at night - so Maleah and I set up camp in the car. She was plenty warm in her get-up. Me on the other hand... not so warm.

It was nice to have alot of those who were there want to hold her. I actually had a chance to take some time away and go on a hike that almost killed me!! - not really. Don't mind the back sweat. :) The picture explains how I felt the whole way UP. And that is all that it was.

Maleah Jones

Welcome to the world Miss Maleah Jones! Maleah was born April 14th 2008 and weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. I was in labor around 6 1/2 hours (which in my opinion is a blessing). Everything turned out just the way I had planned. Perfect!

There is lots to catch up on now that she is 7 weeks old. Including how much she loves baths. To Maleah bathtime is like a tropical escape. She lays so patiently like she is enjoying her personal spa. Then comes the time to get out of the bath and happiness ends.

More coming soon

I heard the beginning sounds of heaven today!

Went in for my first OBGYN (oh goody!) appointment. They ran some blood tests and I got to hear her heart beat. Says everything sounds good.

First Ultrasound was done today...

9/4/2007 - First Ultrasound was done today... Seven weeks 6 days. I call the baby my little Gummy. My sister Sarah and I established this was the best way to describe what it looks like at this stage :)

You can see that this little gummy is not to big yet (about the size of my thumb), but it makes it's mama proud. To the left is the head, to the right is the body (obviously) and the little stubs going up and down are supposed to be the arms. hehe

SUPRISE RAMONAH!! YOUR HAVIN A BABY!!

SUPRISE RAMONAH!! YOUR HAVIN A BABY!! was a shock this morning as I looked into my pregnancy test with eyes open like I just recieved a million dollars for my birthday, only I was shocked in not such a good way. At this point a million dollars sounded better than having this baby. Thoughts ran through my mind like an unorganized file cabinet, not really sure where all the thoughts and feelings were supposed to go, and would take some time to organize them, but it would be done and worth it in the end. :) Time to tell the family!!
